👋 Hey, Leo here! Welcome to The Antifragile Leader. Each week, I explain the concepts needed to lead through uncertainty. Subscribe to get every issue in your inbox.
Hey Friends,
Welcome to the 98th edition of my newsletter.
I’ve had a busy week, but one of those weeks that you get so many things done.
First things first, I have developed a quick AI automation that can help with your career journey. Through trial and error, I found an immediate solution you can use if your stuck in your current role or not sure what steps you should take to get to the next level.
It’s a simple Google form you submit, and you should get the results back in a maximum of one hour.
Please give this a try and let me know how it works for you. Any feedback is appreciated.
I would have paid good money for this when I was in trouble.
Back to my week.
Last weekend, we visited our mom for her birthday, and it was the first time we took Zeno on a longer car trip. It was a blast having lunch with my sister and her family, and even though it was a bit too much for Zeno, it was nice seeing Mom surrounded by all her nephews.
We also received the edited photos from Zeno’s newborn photoshoot, and the photos are very cute. As someone who doesn’t have too many photos from my childhood (not many cameras in communism, especially digital ones), I’m sure he’s going to be happy and have these types of memories growing up.

I also participated in a very interesting panel with the Bridging Gaps team, talking about the impact of AI in companies, especially IT services. While this was the main topic of the presentation, the discussions went all over the place, from people losing their jobs to the ethical concerns of using AI and the speed at which we will reach AGI.
It was a great event, and it’s one of the many signals I’ve had lately that the startup scene in Romania is developing more and more.

2. Taking my coaching and mentoring to the next level
This week, I decided to make it official and post on LinkedIn, too, about the fact that I have joined Bridging Gaps as a career coach/mentor. Bridging Gaps is an NGO interested in coaching professionals, especially IT workers.
I will have a number of hours dedicated to this initiative every month. This is only pro-bono work, and it complements my paid coaching. Basically, through Bridging Gaps I have a couple of sessions I offer to people who need an immediate fix to their most pressing issue.
Through my structured coaching program, which takes between 8 and 12 weeks, I take the client from point A to point B with a clear roadmap and weekly check-ins. (Respond to this email if you’re interested in this, and we will have a free 30-minute discovery session.)
I call it coaching/mentoring because even though it’s mostly coaching, I also use my experience from 18 years of working in the software industry to give specific advice.
Coaching is something I really enjoy doing, and it’s good to be able to use my experience to give back to people.
I recommend you start by using the Google form to figure out where you are in your career and let’s take the conversation from there.
3. Recommendations:
This piece I wrote on LinkedIn about IT jobs in 2025.
I feel like n8n is the next big thing in AI right now. It’s a tool that you can host yourself and it helps you create AI agents. This is what I’m learning right now.
White Lotus Season 3 is on, and as the first 2 seasons are some of my favorite TV seasons ever, I am very excited to watch the new installment. If you haven’t done so already, I recommend you start with season 1. This season is in Thailand, so expect some beautiful sceneries.
Well, I hope you liked this edition.
Stay Antifragile,
Leo
