Hey Friends,
Welcome to the 113th edition of The Antifragile Leader.
Not your ordinary “antifragile newsletter.” As lately I’ve been involved in many projects at work and doing my dissertation on the side, I am stuck in a “creative rut,” so to speak.
What does that mean? It means I am out of ideas to write about on both LinkedIn and Substack. Or at least that’s what I thought it was.
But, after thinking about it a bit more, it’s not about not having ideas; it’s about not having the mental space for new ideas.
In short, my schedule is so packed, and I have so many things I need to finish that I can’t think about anything else. And that includes writing LinkedIn posts, Substack notes, and even this newsletter.
Even shorter: I need a vacation!
But that won’t happen until August, so I’ll just have to find a way to accommodate all the things that are going on in my life, both urgent as well as things that are important in the long run (and this is where I include this newsletter).
Once I figure that out, I will write about it, as I am sure it’s something that would be useful for most of you too.
Until then, I leave you with this short email and my recommendations for the week.
PS: Next week I’ll tell you about my first Spartan race, which I completed yesterday.
Recommendations:
AI and automation are the future, at least that’s what I think. Bubble.io, one of the nicest and easiest to use no-code platform just released the capability to build mobile apps with no-code and they have a free YouTube tutorial on this topic. And this is what I’ll watch this week.
This post by one of my favorite Substack writers on why strategy is more important than ever.
As a history buff, this discussion about WWII was very interesting.
Thank you for reading.
If this resonated, forward it to someone navigating change or wondering how to stay relevant in an age of AI.
And if you’re building your own barbell, I’d love to hear how.
Stay antifragile,
Leo
